Fit Ryde LLC owner and instructor, Erica Burns, relocated with her family in August 2012 to the suburbs of Philadelphia area from Long Beach, New York. She is a nationally certified AFAA group fitness instructor with over a decade of experience.Ê She has been teaching cycling, bootcamp, body sculpting, kettlebells and her signature "Pedal and Pump" classes at various fitness clubs and studios on Long Island. Erica is Real Ryder certified and has experience with Soul Cycle and is always ready to embrace the latest and greatest fitness trends. She brings enthusiasm and fun to all her classes. While being a mother and raising her three babies is her most rewarding job, her commitment to fitness and instructing fitness classes is her passion. Erica loves to motivate and inspire people to get healthy and fit. Her motto is to "keep your eye on the prize"..."being healthy and fit is the goal...feeling and looking great is the guaranteed result". I have been teaching Group Fitness and Spinning classes since January 2006. Prior to that, I worked in the banking industry for 16 years. I Graduated from Goldey Beacome College with a Bachelors degree in Marketing/Management.

My hobbies include outdoor cycling, triathlons, gardening, tennis and golf. I have four children that keep me extra busy!

Certified Training in Group Fitness, YMCA Personal Trainer, Schwinn and Realryder.

Casey Shaw

I am a gym enthusiast and enjoy working out each and every day! I was a swimmer for over 10 years competing on three different swim teams. After retiring from competition swimming, I was looking for something that would give me that amazing cardio workout and cycling at FIT RYDE was it! I began cycling and immediately fell in love with it. I believe a work out is all about your effort and your personal goals, and of course having fun! As an instructor my goal is always to make the workout just that-- fun! My professional occupation is education. I enjoying teaching and by day my job is directing a preschool. It only seemed logical to combine my two passions, teaching and cycling. I love to motivate people and seeing them return to my class always makes me happy. Come to a challenging Fit Ryde class if you want to be motivated by me!

Jaime Kern
REAL RYDER certified
Jaime has been teaching indoor cycling for 10 years. She also teaches Turbo Kickboxing (TKB), Boot Camp, and Indo-Row. Jaime enjoys teaching and working out with all fitness levels. Engaging members in a fun, energetic and challenging workout is her main goal.

When Jaime is not teaching fitness classes she travels a lot with her full time job and spends the rest of her time with her young son and husband. Jaime enjoys running, rowing, cycling and traveling.

Jenny Munro
Jenny Munro has taught group fitness classes for over 21 years. She has been teaching indoor cycling classes for over 14 years. She is excited to work with the team at FitRyde!

Jenny is also an AFAA Nationally Certified Personal Trainer, TRX Suspension Training Instructor and a Red Cross CPR instructor. She lives in West Chester, PA with her husband and two children. In addition to helping people reach their wellness and fitness goals, she enjoys travel, outdoor cycling, running and entertaining family and friends.

Shannon Narvaez
REAL RYDER certified
Shannon found FitRyde a few years ago when she was ñon the mendî from some nagging injuries. She found that the high energy of the classes, along with the versatility of the bikes, made for a fabulous, fun workout, without all the strain on her body. SheÍs been hooked ever since! She has been involved in fitness and exercise her entire life (as a state champion gymnast, collegiate track athlete and gym enthusiast). She believes there are so many ways to get and stay fit, that those ways may change for an individual over time, and that it should always be fun and enjoyableƒ part of the reason why she loves to get Fit and Ryde!

Shannon is Real Ryder Certified, as well as Certified in Small Group Training. She is passionate about the role of nutrition and (local) farming in our dietary choices, and has become an avid student on the empowering benefits of essential oils to one's overall health and wellness.

Shannon lives in Wilmington with her husband and three boys, where she helps coach their cross country and track teams. When she is not working, teaching or playing chauffeur, she enjoys obstacle course racing, camping, hiking, backpacking, or anything else that keeps her moving! While she leads a very full life, she also cherishes time with friends and family, whom she loves to cook for and entertain (if you can make her stay still long enough!).

Tara Campbell
Tara is an avid triathlete and experienced spin instructor of 8 years. Her interest in spin began during a time when she had to rehab an ankle injury. She turned to spinning as a way to remain active. This quickly led to a passion for working with others and being a part of leading them on their spinning journey.

As an instructor, Tara challenges her classes and encourages them to try to reach new levels of fitness that they didn't think were possible; all while enjoying the ride. Being an experienced triathlete, Tara is also able to bring a wealth of knowledge to spinning to help individuals train, prepare and race.

Staying fit and healthy is an important part of Tara's life; having the ability to actively play with her two children and dog, Fenway. She also enjoys swimming several days a week with the Master's swim group, running, reading, and cooking.

Heather Fili
Heather is an Elite Team and a Gold Certified Red Hot Dance Fitness Instructor as well as a RHDF Barre Certified instructor. She has 17 years of dance experience and has been teaching RHDF for over year and loves every minute of it! Heather is excited to spread her love of dance through the Barre fitness program at Fit Ryde Indoor Cycling & Fitness Studio! She has an enthusiasticoutlook on life and it shows in every class she instructs. She hopes tomotivate andinspire others to feel good about themselves through her love of dance and fitness. When she is not teaching she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also has a BA in psychology and works as an elementary school secretary.

Nicole Scimone
REAL RYDER certified
Nicole became a Certified Spinning Instructor in 2003 and has been coaching students from Pennsylvania to NYC ever since. Her philosophy is that "Workouts are how we adults play" and believes that, along with improving our health, our workouts should be fun. Which is why Nicole takes every opportunity available to add a little extra fun in her workout.

Nicole also believes it is important to have a well-rounded workout. Which is why, along with teaching Ryde, she keeps herself fit through by running and practicing Yoga (and highly recommends some of our Boot Camp and Barre Classes).

Rachel Grahamslaw
Rachel has been a certified Group Exercise Instructor for 10 years. She is nationally certified by AFAA and Reebok and has been involved in dance (ballet, tap, jazz and modern) since the age of three. Rachel graduated from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, a minor in Adapted Physical Activity and Concentration in Dance. After spending time working in corporate fitness, she became a teacher after receiving her Masters of Special Education with an emphasis in Educational Technology from West Chester University. Rachel is also a certified Personal Trainer and holds certifications in Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED and First Aid through the American Red Cross.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, Jon, dogs Georgia and Bettis, and her family. Reading and enjoying time at the beach are also two of Rachel's favorite activities. She is excited to be a member of the Fit Ryde team and help members achieve their health and wellness goals.
